I try to capture every moment I can with pictures. Photos to me are like looking back in the past, seeing and feeling the emotion you had in that exact moment. Think about a picture an athlete who just won gold, a mom seeing her newborn baby for the first time, or even a groom watching his partner walk down the aisle... You can FEEL their emotions through those images right? To me that is what photography is all about. I want the time we spend together to be some of the most easy and natural moments, so that I can capture your real, raw emotions.
My photography focuses on intentional photos that tell your unique story, all the real emotion, happiness and excitement. I'm not one for stuffy posing. My goal is honest documentation of your emotions to make magical memories and keep them alive for years to come!

Adventure Sessions In The Smoky Mountains
The main reason I got a permit to shoot in the Smoky Mountains is because I absolutely love the outdoors. I grew up hiking and camping. I took for granted living so close to the mountains. The older I've gotten, the more my love for the beauty of the Smokies has grown. I want to capture special memories for others like the ones I have in the Smokies.

I photographed my first wedding in 2011 a few months after graduating with my associates in photography, from there I have been able to second shoot with so many wonderful photographers and have spent the last 4 years photographing 10 to 25 weddings a year on my own.
I prefer to shoot the hour after sunrise or the hour before sunset Monday-Friday. Saturdays are kept for weddings during busy season but if it's the off season I will photograph portrait sessions on certain Saturdays. Please contact me as I do my best to accommodate everyone.

ABSOLUTELY! I love to visit new places. There is no travel for sessions/weddings within a 30 minute radius of Knoxville or in the Smokies- travel outside these areas are subject to a travel fee.
OF COURSE! I love to photograph couples and families somewhere that is special to them.
I have a Nikon Z7ii and D850 that I use regularly and a Nikon D750 as a back up. I love my 50mm and 35mm lens but I also use an 85mm.
You will get a link to a gallery where you can view, share and download your photos. Sessions are delivered in 2-4 weeks and weddings are delivered between 8-10 weeks.
